“Signature practice”

Our signature practice combines a variety of yoga traditions to promote overall health and well being.  We infuse a hybrid of Vinyasa, Katonah Yoga®, Hatha, breathing techniques, meditation, along with theory.  This practice is always evolving, and varies from teacher to teacher.  All levels are welcome.

“Flow Practice”

A blend of our signature practice with a heavier focus on movement along with the breath.

“Chill practice”

Think of this class as a slow flow. There is movement to stimulate our nervous system, and wake up our imagination. Here you will feel challenged, stimulated, and relaxed, all in one. This practice will help combat daily stresses and anxiety. Any and all are welcome here!

“Yin/Restorative Practice”

This class offers a therapeutic approach to the practice, allowing space and time to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, achieving an elevated state of relaxation.  A restorative practice creates an environment for us to to reconnect to our breath and become more aware of how we hold tension in our body.  All are welcome and encouraged to take this class.


Katonah Yoga was founded by Nevine Michaan, and is a hatha yoga practice refined over forty years, blended with Taoist theory, sacred geometries, pranayama and meditation. For more information, please visit
